Dominic Ashok

Dominic joined the Lau Lab in Summer 2024 after his second year of his integrated Biochemistry Masters (MBiochem) at Wadham College. To support his project, Dominic successfully applied for a funded Department of Biochemistry summer studentship. During his internship he gained a LOT of experience at troubleshooting tricky Plasmodium protein expression from Sf9 cells.

He rejoined the Lau Lab for his 4th year project, in which he tested microtubule binding activities of a several microtubule associated proteins including EB1.
